TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to Krav Maga Maryland (the “Company”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, website, and facilities. By enrolling in our programs, visiting our website, or participating in our classes or events, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services or facilities.

1. General Overview

1.1. Krav Maga Maryland is a provider of self-defense training, fitness classes, firearms training, and related services.

1.2. All participants must adhere to the policies and guidelines set forth in these Terms to ensure a safe and effective training environment.

1.3. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website or notifying you in writing.

2. Membership and Fees

2.1. Memberships: All memberships are subject to the terms outlined in your Membership Agreement. Youth, teen, and adult memberships must be purchased as 12-month agreements unless otherwise specified.

2.2. Fees and Payments: Tuition fees, enrollment fees, and other charges are non-refundable. Payments must be made on time. A late fee may apply for overdue payments.

2.3. Discounts: Promotional discounts, such as Black Friday offers, are available only during the promotional period and cannot be retroactively applied.

3. Refund and Cancellation Policy

3.1. General Policy: All sales are final. This includes memberships, private lessons, merchandise, and Byrna products.

3.2. Cancellations: Membership cancellations are subject to the terms of your Membership Agreement.

3.3. Refunds: Refunds are not available except in cases of proven billing errors.

5. Class Policies

5.1. Attendance: All classes must be attended on time. Late arrivals may be denied entry for safety reasons.

5.2. Behavior: Disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from classes or termination of membership without a refund.

5.3. Trial Classes: A single trial class is available for $30.

6. Liability Waiver

6.1. Participation in Krav Maga Maryland classes, events, and activities is at your own risk.

6.2. All participants must sign a liability waiver before entering any training room or engaging in any training or activity. Failure to do so will result in denied access to our facilities.

6.3. The Company is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or lost belongings.

7. Use of Byrna Products

7.1. Byrna products are sold as less-than-lethal self-defense tools and are legal in all 50 states.

7.2. No permit is necessary to purchase or own a Byrna product. However, it is your responsibility to comply with local laws and regulations.

7.3. All sales of Byrna products are final.

8. Code of Conduct

8.1. Participants must treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect and courtesy.

8.2. Proper training attire is required for all classes.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. All materials, programs, and content provided by Krav Maga Maryland are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

9.2. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without explicit permission from Krav Maga Maryland.

10. Photography and Media

10.1. Photography and media are strictly prohibited to be taken by members, visitors, or participants during classes, events, or within the facilities.

10.2. All photography and media are to be conducted exclusively by Krav Maga Maryland’s designated photographer.

10.3. By participating in our classes or events, you agree that Krav Maga Maryland may use your image or likeness for promotional purposes.

10.4. If you do not wish to appear in promotional materials, you must notify us in writing.

11. Termination of Services

11.1. Krav Maga Maryland reserves the right to terminate memberships or services for violation of these Terms.

11.2. In the event of termination, no refunds will be issued.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.

12.2. Disputes must first be resolved through mediation. If mediation fails, disputes may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction.
