About Us

Krav Maga Maryland, a licensee of Krav Maga Worldwide™, was founded in 2003. We have designed our programs and facilities with one person in mind – the student. Our instructors are nationally certified and evaluated on a continual basis. Our training methods, and curriculum are constantly improved to ensure that you receive the best training available. Don’t be fooled by programs that teach watered-down self-defense programs. At Krav Maga Maryland you can be certain that you are receiving nothing but the best training, proven daily in the real world!

In August of 2019, our original Columbia facility was destroyed in a natural gas explosion. Nobody was injured, and true to our mission of fighting in the face of adversity, we had our students back to training at local businesses that had allowed us to rent space from them within 24 hours of the explosion. After nearly three months of displacement and offsite classes, we opened up our new 10,000 sq ft facility at 8895 McGaw Rd.

For most of our students, physical safety is just the beginning. Krav Maga Maryland pushes our students beyond their perceived limits, empowering ordinary folks to do the extraordinary. Preparedness, confidence, strength, and excellence become the hallmark of our students’ training experience.  And yes, you will be ready should the unthinkable occur.

We also believe that to be successful in your training you need to be comfortable in your training environment, and all of our training centers are designed with comfort and safety as the top priorities.
